Who's behind the machine?

My name is Camrin and I am the owner, operator, and seamstress behind Wrap & Scraps. My partner in crime is my beautiful daughter Skout, who is my inspiration for everything I do.

I was born in Japan and raised all over the world as a military child. I studied Theatre Arts in college. I now live in North Carolina which I consider my home state with my daughter and dog. I've been sewing since I was a little girl. I was lucky enough to have an amazing Grandmother who ran her own clothing line and later a long-arm quilting business. She is one of my greatest influences and gave me my start in this trade. In college I dabbled in double majoring in costume design, and gained some more experience. When my daughter was born my ex-husband and I had to uproot our lives and move across the country. We had no friends, family, and I whipped out the sewing machine to start some projects to keep busy. Wrap & Scrap's steam rolled out from there, the amazing response to my original designs was overwhelming and I decided to open up for customs. My original wrap scrap creations include the first wrap scrap steering wheel cover, car accessories, wallets designed by myself, ear warmers...and more.

I continue to grow and learn on a daily basis, expanding my knowledge, and trying new things. Handmade items are so special, one of a kind, made with extreme love and care. My goal is to give you an heirloom quality item, something that can capture how special babywearing is to you. It is a moment in our children's lives that we can never get back, but will cherish and remember forever. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to learn more about the benefits of wearing.
